Our MaxxECU offering for the W11 R53 Mini Cooper S

The plugin harness is built from Spec55 cable, concentrically twisted motorsport grade. It’s sheathed in DR-25 motorsport grade heat shrink.

The generation 1 MaxxECU Generation 1 is included.

The harness is designed to run VAG Coil on plug, two of the connectors pictures run to a small harness for the coils. There is an option to run the OEM coil if required though.

The other connectors are for extra I/O. There are pins pre-wired essentially for 3 x extra AIN inputs for fuel/oil or whatever. There are two EGT connectors also pre-wired as pictured. The connector for the OEM harness is housed in a 3D printed case, and ‘potted’ with epoxy resin to ensure absolute reliability.

Pre-Wired for an LSU4.2 wideband sensor, also supplied with the kit.

Naturally, they come with pinouts for the extra connectors. Base map also provided.

The CAN-BUS works in as much as the instruments and the ABS etc.

No error lights, but I made these really for a couple of race/track cars that wanted to move the ECU inside the vehicle. 😊

This is the ECU we ran our DSG Compound charged R53 on.
