Our Honda K20/K24 harness and ECU Kit:
We initially designed this harness after having to tune various K20 engines on ‘lesser’ ECU’s, this kit gives a better range of features based on budget and requirements.
All of our looms are built to order, so can be customised to a certain extent.

There are connectors for spare inputs and outputs near both the ECU, and on the engine. The one near the ECU has CAN connections, connections for the internal throttle pedal (Your choice of pedal), and a pair of digital inputs. These can be used for paddle shifters, or launch control etc. There is a 12-Way DT connector on the engine, ready for extra sensors. Oil pressure, temperature and so on.

 

This loom is constructed from Thinwall Automotive cable. It’s covered with heatshrink. The junctions are ATUM adhesive heat shrink. We supply two new connectors for the Coolant Temperature sensor, and the Air Temperature Sensor. All connectors, are labelled on yellow professionally printed heatshrink. This is covered in adhesive clear heatshrink.

 

The engine can run with throttle bodies, or the standard single throttle body. The ECU can be programmed to run supercharger / turbocharger / nitrous / twincharged, whatever project is going through your mind!

All of our harnesses are ‘boarded out’, so they are guaranteed to fit straight out of the box. All OEM connectors are compatible. Crank sensor, temperature sensor and so on, will all just plug in and work as they should. We also provide connection to Reverse Light Switch, Reverse Lockout, Speed sensor an so on. These are calibrated in the ECU where required.

There is onboard wideband Lambda, with the relevant connector in the engine bay. The ECU natively controls the Lambda sensor, no extra boxes required. The ECU also has on board datalogging, again no extra boxes! The MaxxECU is taking the tuning world by storm, and fast becomming the ECU of choice.

The loom is braided with Propower braided tubing, this offers very good mechanical strength and also provide excellent resistance to salt water, oil, fuels and solvents. It is self-extinguishing and operates at temperatures within the range of – 40°C to +125°C. The junctions are adhesive heat shrunk and all applicable connectors are booted. Aux connectors on engine, aux connectors near ECU. Aux connectors in Deutsch DT & DTM.

ECU choice is available from the drop down, along with extras like 8HP – DSG. We can customise your engine harness as you need to an extent. Small charges will apply for extra sensors and suchike. But we can be flexible in the build.

We login remotely to get your vehicle up and running. We can naturally tune the vehicle here if required. It’s what we do. 🙂

These packages are made to order generally. They can be upgraded (Spec44 – Concentric twist – DR25 etc) or modified to suit to an extent while being built.
