Passat towbar fitted and wired, using the vehicles canbus system. The other control modules within the vehicle are always recoded to expect a trailer. This includes the vehicles stability programs and ABS. Ensure all these things can be completed by your fitter before you start! It can only lead to problems in the future if you don’t.

406 with DPF issues. This turned out to be a mixture of a couple of broken down sensors misreading. We replaced the sensors, and the vehicle is away again. Often DPF problems are just sensor issues. It’s not always the filter that is blocked.
