Covid-19 Updates
Our current Procedures for the COVID-19 Pandemic,
Update 05/04/21
During the first lockdown, we removed ‘Customer on site’ from our insurance, in order to obviously save money where we can. This saved us in the region of £7k. It’s always just been part of our insurance package, so we didn’t even realise we were paying that much money, for the privilege of letting people stand next to our rolling road!
As it stands, we will probably not add this to our insurance again, as literally there are no other downsides. While I appreciate it’s interesting for the customers to watch said rolling road time, I can’t warrant the extra costs presently.
Please bare this in mind when booking. The link to this page has been sent in every email we’ve sent out for the last year, so hopefully, you’ve taken the time to read it. 😉
We do video your Dyno time though, and upload a private link for you to watch said dyno time, from the comfort of your own living room. 🙂
Stay Safe,
Update 04/12/21
So, yet again, here we are. Another Lockdown.
As per the current government guidlines, we are continuing to be ‘open’. We are completely contact free though, and are accepting no customers beyond our wooden gates. There is a key box located on the right hand wooden gatepost. Vehicles can be left, and keys left in the box safely.
We will disinfect the vehicle, before, and after works completed.
Keys will be left in a safe location for collection upon completion of work.
There are no exceptions to the above:
‘wearing a mask’
‘i want to see it on the dyno’
‘I can’t get a lift’
‘Ive not been in contact with anyone with COVID’.
Are not reasons to be past our gates.
Stay safe, hope to see you soon.

Update, 01/08/2020
We are now presently open fully. With the only exception being no customers beyond our lower gate. There is no reason for any customers to be beyond this anyway, but just so that you are aware, there are no customers permitted into the workshop.
We are still, and appointment only service. Please avoid dissapointment by arranging a visit.
Update, 19/05/2020,
We are currently planning on opening again on the 01/06/2020, unless government guidelines change.
THERE WILL BE NO ADMITTANCE BEYOND OUR GATES. We are strictly ONLY OPEN TO PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENTS. Please see note below regarding the dropping off/collection procedure.
Dropping off and collection:
Please be aware of the following restrictions:
We will not be allowing the public beyond our main gates at this time. Keys can be dropped into our secure lockable keybox on the main gates.
When works are completed, we will phone you.
If required, we can video any dyno time, and upload it to our YouTube channel for you to view. I appreciate seeing your vehicle on the Dyno is part of the enjoyment of putting a car together. We don’t charge for this service.
Collection & Delivery
We are operating a collection and delivery service for our local customers at this time, FOC. This is operated within 6 miles of our workshop.
As per usual our trailer service can be arranged with me over the phone. We will collect your vehicle, and drop it off to you on our trailer, at a sensible time, and sensible cost. This is useful to race car, track car and classic car owners. As per usual, pop me an email, or give me a call to arrange, and quote for this service.
Payment:
Quite straight forwards really, obviously payment needs to be made before vehicles are collected, as per normal. This can be made VIA BACS, or card over the phone.
UPDATE 03-05-20
I’VE BEEN GETTING LOTS OF E-MAILS & PHONE CALLS REGARDS WHEN WE ARE RE-OPENING, WHICH IS FAIR. I’M STILL FOLLOWING GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES. WE ARE NOT CLASSED AS AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE.
WHEN I DO RE-OPEN, PLEASE BE AWARE, THAT WE WILL BE OPERATING FOR A WHILE UNDER AS A ‘DISTANCED SERVICE’ I WON’T BE ALLOWING PEOPLE ON SITE ETC. CAR DROP OFFS AND COLLECTIONS WILL BE ALLOWED OF COURSE. I APPRECIATE PEOPLE ENJOY WATCHING THEIR CARS ON THE ROLLING ROAD, BUT I WILL BE ABLE TO UPLOAD VIDEOS OF THIS IF REQUIRED.
CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES ON OUR FACEBOOK PAGE, OR INSTAGRAM, OR HERE. 🙂 STAY SAFE.
