Remote Tuning & Log Review

Log review, and remote tuning, is something we started offering a few years ago. Historically, it was a little difficult with the technology of the day. Getting ‘decent’ logs out of the ECU’s of the day, was clunky at best. Often the logs were from a different software than the ECU, and the sample rate very slow. Making using this data, a ‘shot in the dark’ at times.

Fast forward a few years, and most decent ECU’s now have built in logging. Built in logging, at decent speeds too. The MaxxECU for instance, the entire range, have onboard logging, up to 1000hz. This allows us to get lots, of useful information. This aids us being able to asses engine health, able to diagnose problems, and also be able to tune the engine!

So essentially, we now offer this service. We currently offer various packages, for some customers we review logs from every race. For some, we review the logs after a race weekend. For some customers we review them when they have a problem. Diagnosing a fault as ad when one should occur.

We review logs also, after we’ve tuned a car free of charge. For instance a log from the vehicle driving on the road, when we’ve tuned it on the dyno. It can be very usefu, driving a vehicle on the road can often get into places in the ECU calibration that we just can’t get to on the Dyno. 

We offer this service primarily to MaxxECU users for the above reasons. There are other ECU’s we offer this service too also though. Pop me an E-Mail to discuss the above if you feel it may be of use.

Remote Tuning Options

Remote tuning is also a service we offer. This is very specifically only offered for the MaxxECU system. We can offer it for most engines though running the ECU. 

We offer discount for this, if we’ve supplied the ECU system.
