We can remove immobilisers here at PVE in Chard, Somerset.
We can physically disable the immobiliser features within the ECU itself. This is particularly useful if you are putting a modern engine into an older car. Or perhaps an engine and ECU from a completely different marque. We presently can remove immobilisers from most Bosch EDC15 ECU's, Bosch EDC16 ECU's, and Bosch ME7 ECU's. We are always working towards doing more at all times, so it's worth bashing us across a quick Email.
We remove the back from the ECU itself, use a special SOIC clip connected to our EEPROM programmer.
We read the present software, adjust it accordingly, adjust the checksum, and re-write the software back onto your chip. With most we don't have to even solder the the ECU. We can of course just get the login code from the data we extract if you would like to program a second hand ECU into your vehicle, and retain the immobiliser.
We complete this service from our base in Chard, Somerset. We offer a postal service too. This service is £30+VAT. We can even offer you a remap onto your ECU at the same time should you require. 🙂
